Municipal House

Municipal House is the foremost Art Nouveau building in Prague. This exhibition presents late 19th century Czech and European Art Nouveau works, on loan from the Museum of Decorative Arts. Decorative art shown at the Paris World’s Fair of 1900 will also form part of the exhibition, which totals over 400 items.

Prague Folklore Days

The 8th International meeting of folk groups in Prague runs over four days on open air stages at the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Republic Square. Amateur folk groups travel from many countries to present their own style of folklore. On Saturday afternoon there is also a parade through the Old Town.

Prague Opera
Prague Opera, Ballet & Classical Concert listings & tickets

Prague is famous for opera, ballet and classical concerts. Performances take place in three magnificent opera houses, in stunning concert halls and in an array of beautiful historic churches. Tickets are reasonably priced, so shows often sell out. Advance reservations are therefore highly recommended.

Visit the Prague theatre for a typically Czech experience.
Black light theatre is a highly charged mix of dynamic dance, mime, singers, film, and state-of-the-art visual and sound effects. And marionette theatre features giant puppets.
