Municipal House

Municipal House is the foremost Art Nouveau building in Prague. This exhibition presents late 19th century Czech and European Art Nouveau works, on loan from the Museum of Decorative Arts. Decorative art shown at the Paris World’s Fair of 1900 will also form part of the exhibition, which totals over 400 items.

Afro-Bailar Prague Festival 2014
Afro-Bailar Prague Festival 2014

The Afro-Bailar Festival brings to Prague international singers, dancers and teachers with different musical styles such as Kizomba, Zouk, Salsa, Tango, Coupé-Décalé, Semba and African beats. Many kinds of music can be enjoyed from Latino to Reggae.

Prague is famous for opera, ballet and classical concerts. Performances take place in three magnificent opera houses, in stunning concert halls and in an array of beautiful historic churches. Tickets are reasonably priced, so shows often sell out. Advance reservations are therefore highly recommended.

Prague Theatre

Visit the Prague theatre for a typically Czech experience.
Black light theatre is a highly charged mix of dynamic dance, mime, singers, film, and state-of-the-art visual and sound effects.
Marionette theatre features giant puppets dressed in 18th century costumes. Shows are highly visual, so suitable for adults and children of all ages and nationalities. And as with opera and concerts, advance reservations are highly recommended.
