Petrin Hill & Observation Tower
May Rituals
Date: 01 May 2015
Petrin Hill is the romantic setting for couples in love to spend a few hours together, after placing flowers at the feet of a statue of the celebrated 19th century poet, Karel Hynek Macha. Macha created several myths, a few illegitimate offspring and an epic poem called 'May'. Thus, lovers make a pilgrimage in his name and find a quiet corner to, well, er, let's say no more.
