Step inside U Maliru's beautiful 16th century building in the heart of the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and experience some of the finest French dining that Prague has to offer.

U Maliru Restaurant is set on a quiet, pleasant square away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge.

The food at U Maliru is exquisite, and the preparation innovative, using meats ranging from Roe deer saddle, beef and duck to veal fillets. For fish there is Pikeperch, Royal Bream and fresh tuna.

Starters range from slices of beef sirloin to a house special of flambéed steak of foie gras, to caviar, St. Jacques mussels and roasted prawns.

Desserts are of course a French speciality, and U Maliru doesn't let you down, with choices ranging from a soufflé of raspberry with sorbet of vanilla to chocolate cake and Crêpes Suzettes flambée with Grand Marnier.

To ensure the cuisine's authenticity, many ingredients are imported from France. There is also an extensive range of fine wines to suit.

U Maliru is a smart, quiet restaurant, wonderfully restored to its former glory. As you enter the restaurant, a smell of freshly cooked fare permeates the air.

Ideal for a fine meal with friends, a special occasion or a romantic meal by candlelight.

Highly recommended for fine food in historic surroundings.
