Jama is a buzzing American-style bar located close to
Wenceslas Square, and just over the road from
Rocky O´Reillys Irish Pub.
Jama is popular with expats and tourists, but there are always plenty of Prague locals enjoying the lively atmosphere and good old American bar music as well.
Pictures of Hendrix, Clapton and the Beatles line the cellar-like walls, and the friendly staff ensure you’re never short of a drink.
There are good draught Czech beers, as well as wines and an extensive cocktail list. And as the bar is on a back street, the prices are very reasonable.
In the summer you can enjoy a drink outside in the Oasis Beer Garden, but many still chose to drink inside. The garden does not have quite the atmosphere of the bar.
Jama is one of only a few bars in Prague to show American sports. The screen is not the best, but for American Football, Ice Hockey or Baseball this is probably the first pub in Prague to try.
Jama is always welcoming and if you're not quite sure where to go in Prague, drop in here for a drink and sit at the bar. Hopefully you'll strike up a conversation to get you on your way; a lot of expats think of Jama as their local.
