COMO Restaurant

Stylish COMO Restaurant looks out over the top half of Wenceslas Square through huge plate-glass windows. And a terrace at the front of the restaurant offers the square's finest heated al fresco dining.

COMO is a good choice for any occasion. It is a bright, lively restaurant with enormous style, where diners enjoy fine food at reasonable prices for this prime central Prague location.

COMO is set in a classic Arte Deco building. The restaurant's high ceilings, intelligent lighting and stunning decor give the impression you really are somewhere special, but at the same time the mood is relaxed and welcoming.

On offer is a Mediterranean menu mixed with Czech specialities, ensuring most tastes are well catered for.

Steaks are nicely prepared and presented, and the slow baked lamb is succulent. There is duck, sea bream and several pasta options such as tagliatelle with tiger prawns, which is fresh and zesty. And a number of crisp Mediterranean salads.

Starters include a favourite of buffalo mozzarella as well as seafood, soups, Parma ham and a selection of Italian salamis and cheese.

The wine cellar at COMO stocks Czech and International wines. Many people also stay on afterwards for cocktails, of which there is an extensive list.

COMO is a fine restaurant for both business and leisure dining, including pre-theatre - the Prague State Opera is just 5 minutes walk away.

And while ideal for evening dining, COMO is also one of two restaurants we would recommend for business lunches in Wenceslas Square (the other is Duplex).

Thursday and Saturday nights there is live music and sometimes cabaret singers.

Friday nights COMO takes on the title of coolest venue in Prague to dine in. A DJ plays lounge music 7pm-9pm, leading on to 80s/90s party tunes from 9pm till late.

The high ceilings carry the music well. There is a real buzz in the air at weekends.
