Rudolfinum Concert Hall

The Rudolfinum Concert Hall in Prague hosts a varied programme of classical music concerts and exhibitions.

Located alongside the river, this beautiful building is the second most significant Neo-Renaissance structure in Prague, after the National Theatre.

The Rudolfinum was built between 1876-1884. In the early 20th century, it played an important role in the development of Czechoslovakia, with the seat of the state parliament sited here between the two world wars.

Today, the Rudolfinum is home to the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1896. They perform classical concerts throughout the year in the largest concert hall in the building, the Dvorák Hall.

The Dvorák Hall is one of the two main concert halls in Prague (the other is the Smetana Hall at the Municipal House).

The grandeur of both the interior and exterior of the building, combined with the high standard of the musicians, make the Rudolfinum one of the most popular and impressive places in Prague to attend classical concerts.
