Ice Rink in the Old Town

An open-air ice rink enhances the festive atmosphere at Ovocny trh, a square at the rear of the Estates Theatre in the Old Town. Take a break from sightseeing and the Christmas markets to enjoy outdoor skating in the heart of Prague.

This exhibition presents Antonin Dvorak, the famous Czech composer, in his lesser known roles, as a conductor, pianist, organist and viola player.

Retro - Exhibition
Retro - Exhibition

Covering fashion to technology, designer furniture to applied arts, travel back in time a little to see what was popular back in the day. A large retro playroom also forms part of the exhibition, to keep the little ones entertained.

Municipal House
Blanka Matragi, fashion designer
Date: 01 January 2017 - 31 December 2017.
Time: Daily 10:00-19:00.
Price: 260czk.
This exhibition, held in the Gaming Parlours at Municipal House, celebrates the fashion designer Blanka Matragi's 30 years of work. Dresses and accessories are the core exhibits, supplemented by sculptures, glass, porcelain and graphic art.

Prague Opera
Prague Opera, Ballet & Classical Concert listings & tickets
Date: January 2017.
Prague is famous for opera, ballet and classical concerts. Performances take place in several magnificent opera houses, stunning concert halls, and in an array of historic churches. Tickets are reasonably priced, so shows often sell out. Advance reservations are therefore highly recommended.

Prague Theatre

Visit the Prague theatre for a typically Czech experience.
Black light theatre is a highly charged mix of dynamic dance, mime, singers, film, and state-of-the-art visual and sound effects. And marionette theatre features giant puppets. Shows are highly visual to appeal to adults and children of all ages and nationalities. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
