This exhibition by the National Gallery Prague presents French impressionist art loaned from the Ordrupgaard Museum in Denmark. Visitors can admire works by Monet, Degas, Renoir, Sisley, Pissarro, Delacroix, Courbet, Corot and Daubigny, as well as Post-Impressionism art by Cézanne and Gauguin.

This exhibition at the New Building of the National Museum explores the world of the Celts in Central Europe in prehistoric times. Archaeological finds have revealed the everyday life of the Celts, including their intricate craftsmanship and religious rituals. The National Museum holds one of the most extensive archaeological collections of Celtic artefacts in Europe.

This photographic exhibition covers the year 1989 when the 'Iron Curtain' fell in Central Europe. Around 70 Czech, Slovak and other Eastern European photographers tell the story of the events 30 years ago through their images.

Villa Amerika Dvorak Museum

Nature played a major role in the life of the famous Czech composer Antonín Dvorák, and it had a strong impact on his work. He was an enthusiastic hiker, pigeon fancier and gardener. This exhibition includes items from Dvorák’s personal estate: his walking sticks, hats, drinking bottle (flask) and his own copy of a book on birdsong from the collection of the National Museum.

This exhibition, held in the Gaming Parlours at Municipal House, celebrates the fashion designer Blanka Matragi's work. Dresses and accessories are the core exhibits, supplemented by sculptures, chandeliers, glass and porcelain objects, and art.

The Czech Repubrick is a display of Czech monuments built entirely from LEGO. Constructed at Hamleys in Prague, it features St. Vitus Cathedral, Karlstejn Castle and a LEGO roller coaster. 2.5 tons of LEGO bricks were used to create the exhibition.

Designblok is the largest design and fashion show in Central Europe. It showcases the work of designers and manufacturers from all over Europe, including designs from new and established brands and design studios.

Public holiday in Prague. 'Independent Czechoslovak State Day' marks the most important date in the country's history. It commemorates the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918, following the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Prague sightseeing and entertainment operate as normal. Shops have limited opening times.
