Classical Concert

PERFORMANCE DETAILS

The Czech Collegium performs a selection of the finest works from the worlds of classical music, opera, jazz and rock at the stunning Spanish Synagogue, often referred to as the 'most beautiful synagogue in Europe'.

Set in the heart of Prague’s Jewish Quarter, the Spanish Synagogue is a masterpiece of Moorish Revival architecture. It features a striking central dome, radiant stained glass windows, and intricately decorated walls inspired by stylized Islamic motifs.

The concert spans several musical genres. It blends famous classical music pieces from the world of opera with popular contemporary tunes, and jazz inspired compositions from well-known musicals.

The Czech Collegium was established in Prague in 1997 and is composed of eminent musicians from a variety of symphony orchestras.
