Prague Carnival
Date: 20 February 2014 - 04 March 2014
Prague Carnival (Carnevale Praha) can trace its roots back to medieval times, and celebrates human joy and gregariousness. If you see colourfully dressed people parading through the Old Town, and hear loud drums and other instruments, that is the carnival. There is no point in listing times, as everyone is far too free spirited to keep to them! However, as part of the festival you can buy tickets for performances of 'Opera Barocca' held at Clam Gallas Palace (runs 21 February - 04 March 2014): Opera Barocca.
Where: In and around the Old Town Square.

Opera Barocca Winter Festival - part of Prague Carnival
