Clam-Gallas Palace
GIOVANNI BATTISTA PIRANESI (1720-1778)
Date: 01 January 2015 - 01 February 2015. Time: Tue-Sun 10:00-18:00.
This exhibition at Clam Gallas Palace shows the works of the Italian artist, architect, designer and archaeologist, Giovanni Battista Piranesi. Piranesi was particularly well known for painting stunning vistas of classical and contemporary Rome.

Antonin Dvorak and Trains - Exhibition
Antonin Dvorak and Trains - Exhibition
Date: 01 January 2015 - 29 March 2015
Dvorak, the Czech composer, said "I would give all my symphonies for inventing the locomotive". This small exhibition presents the development of railway in the Czech lands through the eyes of Dvorak, and includes his manuscript of Humoresque, which is reminiscent of the rhythm of a train.

Municipal House
Vital Art Nouveau 1900 - Exhibition
Date: 01 January 2015 - 31 December 2015. Time: Daily 10:00-19:00.
Price: 150czk
Municipal House is a fitting setting for an exhibition of 19th-20th century Czech and European Art Nouveau works. 400 items are on display, including works exhibited at the Paris World’s Fair of 1900. Buy tickets at Municipal House on the day of your visit.

Prague Carnival

Prague Carnival (Carnevale Praha) traces its roots back to medieval times, and celebrates human joy and gregariousness. If you see colourfully dressed people parading through the Old Town, and hear loud drums and other instruments, that is the carnival. There is no point in listing times, as everyone is far too free spirited to keep to them! But, as part of the festival you can buy tickets for 'Opera Barocca', which is held at Clam Gallas Palace from 07-17 February 2015: Opera Barocca.

Part of Prague Carnival, Opera Barocca held at Clam-Gallas Palace is a series of historic performances which revive the spirit of the masked ball. Clam-Gallas Palace is one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in Prague. Experience the elegance of an 18th century Baroque soirée, featuring opera, ballet, dance and arias, with performers dressed in period costumes.

The Afghan Whigs in Concert

Prague Opera

Prague is famous for opera, ballet and classical concerts. Performances take place in three magnificent opera houses, in stunning concert halls and in an array of beautiful historic churches.
