Tipgames Sports Bar

Tipgames Sports Bar is located just off Wenceslas Square, on the popular "stag party road", Ve Smeckach.

This is no bar for a quiet, romantic drink. Tipgames is clean and clinical, full of lads on stag parties drinking beer, and watching sport on TV and playing games, including trying their luck on a giant roulette wheel.

There is a wide choice of sporting events shown here, including Premier League and international football, rugby, cricket, baseball and American Football.

One large plasma TV and 7 smaller TVs dotted around the room show the action. And if there are several live matches happening at once, choose the TV with your chosen game on. Tipgames Sports Bar does have a good buzz when popular matches are on.

Aesthetically Tipgames is nothing special - it's a straight forward no-nonsense bar. But the stag weekends and local Czechs seem to like it and mix in well together.

The prices are good for both Czech and foreign beers (one reason the stags and locals like it). Indeed, they have some of the cheapest beers in Prague amongst the bars popular with stag and hen parties.

To put that into perspective, if you go to bars on the Old Town Square you'll pay two to three times the price of Tipgames and Paddy Reillys Irish Pub (the other stag bar on the street) for a beer!

Aside from the sports, there is plenty to occupy the punters. There is a selection of gaming machines, including the huge computerised roulette table, and there is even an in-house betting shop if you fancy a flutter on all manner of sports.
