As with many bars in Prague, the entrance to Starsky & Hutch hides what lies below. Descend the stairs, and you find a large cellar bar spread over several levels, one of which is a dance floor.
Starsky & Hutch attracts a good mix of Prague locals and tourists, located as it is just a few minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and the Old Town Square.
The interior walls are mainly exposed-brick, and there are a variety of seating areas to relax in and enjoy a drink from the bar. This glows in the corner, illuminating a range of spirit bottles.
Drinks on offer include wines, cool Czech beers on tap and a sizeable cocktail list, all reasonably priced. There is also early evening happy hours on some nights. These vary depending on the season.
Starsky & Hutch has a good atmosphere, and the DJ builds the party mood later on to entice the crowd on to the dance floor.
Starsky & Hutch was once known as La Fabrique, a long-standing popular music bar, which the present owners are building on.
