A full day sightseeing tour to the beautiful medieval town of Cesky Krumlov.
Located in the south of the Czech Republic, Cesky Krumlov is protected by UNESCO as a world heritage site and is one of the country's most attractive places to visit after Prague.
This sightseeing tour is part by air-conditioned coach, part on foot.
After picking you up from your Prague hotel, we drive for around 2˝ hours through the scenic Bohemian countryside to reach Cesky Krumlov.
We begin our walking tour with a guided visit of the main attraction, the mighty Renaissance castle, once the seat of the powerful lords the Romberks and the Schwarzenbergs. The castle houses a rich collection of period furniture, Flemish tapestries and historical weapons.
A good lunch in a medieval tavern is included in the trip, after which we take a stroll through the city's quaint old streets, lined with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses. These ancient buildings once belonged to wealthy noblemen.
There are many small cafés and shops to discover in Cesky Krumlov, plus a lovely, winding river to stroll by. There is free time to explore before we head home.
Prague Experience sightseeing tours are in English and another language. They are led by professional, licensed tourist guides and use modern, air-conditioned mini-coaches.
If you require a tour in French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish, please specify on the booking form.
The tour finishes back in Prague, at a convenient point in the city centre, near Wenceslas Square.
