Map of Lion & Ball Sports Bar in Prague
The George & Dragon is a British Pub on the Old Town Square. It boasts some of the best coverage of English sports in Prague, showing on two large projection screens and six TVs.

The George & Dragon is kitted out in the modern sports bar style and has plenty of atmosphere. This is definitely a British pub, although of course other nationalities are most welcome to come in and join in.

In the warmer months the George & Dragon has a terrace outside the bar, allowing you to enjoy a drink in the historic setting of the Old Town Square, surrounded by British flags of course!

The terrace attracts stag parties and hen parties at weekends, but other tourists also put in an appearance.

Along with Czech beer on draught, the George & Dragon serves lagers from the UK, and ciders, wines, spirits and cocktails. Drinks in such a prime spot are naturally more expensive than in most other bars.

There is live music a few times a week and party tunes on the stereo in between, when the football or rugby is not showing.

Whether you are watching the big game or getting yourself in the party mood ready for the night ahead, the George and Dragon is a lively place to do it.
