A full day sightseeing tour to the beautiful medieval town of Cesky Krumlov.
Located in the south of the Czech Republic, Cesky Krumlov is protected by UNESCO as a world heritage site. It is one of the country's most attractive places to visit after Prague.
This sightseeing tour is part by air-conditioned coach, part on foot.
After picking you up from your Prague hotel, we drive for around 2˝ hours through the scenic Bohemian countryside to reach Cesky Krumlov.
We begin our guided walking tour in the gardens and courtyards of Cesky Krumlov Castle, then stroll on to the historic centre. The quaint old streets of Cesky Krumlov are lined with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses, once belonging to wealthy noblemen.
At 12:30 we stop off at a local restaurant to enjoy a 3 course lunch. This includes a choice of 4 main courses (vegetarian option is available).
After lunch there is free time to explore the ancient town. There are some charming small shops and cafés to discover in Cesky Krumlov, plus a lovely winding river to walk by.
Next, we begin our guided visit of the main attraction, the mighty Renaissance castle, once the seat of powerful lords, the Romberks and the Schwarzenbergs. The castle houses a rich collection of period furniture, Flemish tapestries and historical weapons.
After the castle tour we commence our journey back to Prague.
Prague Experience sightseeing tours are in English and another language. They are led by professional, licensed tourist guides and use modern, air-conditioned mini-coaches.
