Prague is a lovely city to spend Christmas (24-26 December) in, when it offers even more romantic charm than normal. | | | The Prague Christmas Markets are open every day, there is plenty of entertainment and sightseeing to join in with, and there are lots of cosy pubs and fine restaurants to dine in. Plus, visitors can choose from a range of festive performances in the grand concert halls, ornate opera houses and theatres, Baroque palaces, and historic churches. With fewer people around, the 24 December is a wonderfully peaceful day to stroll around the city. On the 25 and 26 December, the tourist attractions are open, all the river cruises are running, and visitors and locals come together to revel in the festive spirit. | |
