| IKEA Point is a fairly new concept from the Swedish flat pack furniture giant, more suited to city centres.
Much smaller than the usual stores, IKEA Point offers a different way for customers to shop for the company's products. The format is more “pop-up studio”, with the store designed to serve as a source of inspiration, a planning studio, and somewhere to meet and relax (there is a café inside too). IKEA Point focuses on living rooms and kitchens. But there is a limited range of furniture and furnishings to view in store. Instead, the concept is for customers to discuss with staff their requirements, to be offered advice on the options available, and together to plan and order what is required.
Goods can either be delivered to your home or collected from the store at a later date.
There are regular home furnishing events and seminars. Ask in store for details. The Prague IKEA Point is located on Wenceslas Square, one of the main shopping areas in central Prague. |
