| Witches' Night Parade (Paleni Carodejnic) | |

| Witches' Night is an ancient folk festival held across Czechia to mark the end of winter and the start of spring. It is a cross between Halloween and May Day, in which an effigy of a witch, said to resemble winter (or perhaps a historical reference to witch-hunting), is burnt on pyres. In Prague, a lantern parade starts around 6pm at the Lesser Town Square, and proceeds to Kampa Park to burn the witch around 7pm. | |
