The Prague Easter Markets are open daily at Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Wooden huts display traditional handicrafts, such as glassware, embroidered lace, jewellery and hand-painted Easter eggs. Witches' Night Parade (Paleni Carodejnic)

Witches' Night is an ancient folk festival held across Czechia to mark the end of winter and the start of spring. It is a cross between Halloween and May Day, in which an effigy of a witch, said to resemble winter (or perhaps a historical reference to witch-hunting), is burnt on pyres. In Prague, a lantern parade starts around 6pm at the Lesser Town Square, and proceeds to Kampa Park to burn the witch around 7pm.
