Annual wine festival to celebrate the grape harvest, held in the Royal Garden at Prague Castle.
Part 1. In the landscaped gardens of Prague Castle, stalls serve food and drinks associated with harvest time, including local wines and Burcak (partially fermented young wine). Also, watch demonstrations of traditional crafts like grape pressing and basket weaving, and performances by folk singers, musicians and fencers. Entry: free.
Part 2. Moravian Wine Tasting: Inside the Empire Greenhouse, sample a variety of Czech wines at reasonable prices. Entry & Tasting Glass: 120 CZK. No need to book, tickets are available on the day.

The battle of Bila Hora (White Mountain) in 1620 was an important battle of the Thirty Years' War, the result of which determined the destiny of the Czech lands for the next 300 years, until 1918. To mark the anniversary of the event, hundreds of soldiers, horse riders and artillerists re-enact the fight on the battlefield in the outskirts of Prague.
