Our Prague Pub Tour is a gentle stroll around some traditional Old Town taverns. Discover why it is that the Czechs are the largest consumers of beer per capita in the world!
The tour includes pick up from your hotel by air-conditioned coach to transfer you to the starting point, from where the rest of the evening is on foot (some of the best areas of the city are only accessible on foot).
The tour is led by a friendly local guide, who walks us through the side streets of the Old Town to seek out those hidden away pubs you'll want to return to.
Along the way you get to taste different types of Czech beer and learn about old Bohemian traditions - no doubt the guide will have an interesting tale or two to tell!
But it's not all history. The guide will also discuss the life of ordinary Prague people today. After all, these are the pubs the locals like to drink their beer in!
Czech beers are famous the world over; brands like Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen and Budvar (Budweiser). So while in Prague, enjoy Czech beer in its freshest state - beer does not hang around in barrels for long in the Prague pubs!
The tour includes three free large beers, one in each pub (if you don't like beer, you can opt for soft drinks).
And if you decide on the night that wish to have dinner, you can sample traditional Czech food in one of the pubs, with a choice of meals available. Dinner is optional and is not included in the price.
The Prague Pub Tour is a great way to wind down after a day's sightseeing, or makes a good start to an evening of festivities in Prague.
Prague Experience walking tours are in English and are led by professional, licensed tourist guides.
