|Our Prague Pub Tour is a gentle stroll around some Old Town taverns, to discover the authentic Prague pub culture.|
Along the way, we will enjoy a few drinks, learn about the life of the local people, and find out why the Czechs are, per capita, the largest consumers of beer in the world!
The tour begins near Wenceslas Square. It is led by a friendly local guide, who walks us through the back streets of the Old Town to seek out those hidden away pubs you'll want to return to.
You get to taste three large Czech beers, one in each pub (you can opt for soft drinks if you prefer).
Czech beer is famous the world over. Think of brands like Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen and Budvar (Budweiser). It is also deeply ingrained in the Czech culture, so much so that many important national decisions in history have been made over a glass or two.
We'll discuss the life of the Prague people and discover some old Bohemian traditions - no doubt the guide will have an interesting tale or two to tell!
The Prague Pub Tour is suitable for most types of visitor to Prague. It is a great way to wind down after a day out sightseeing, or it can make a good start to a whole evening of festivities.
Dinner is not included in the price, but if you wish to sample traditional Czech food in one of the pubs, simply tell the guide at the start of the tour.
