| Rock Point on Martinska Street is the largest outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment shop in the centre of Prague. It is located just a few minutes’ walk from Old Town Square and
Wenceslas Square.
Arranged over three floors, Rock Point offers high-quality gear for hiking, climbing and skiing, but is equally worth visiting simply to make sightseeing in Prague more comfortable. If you are a tourist lacking a fleece, walking shoes, base layers, a hat and gloves, or a raincoat, Rock Point is a good place to start.
The store specialises in outdoor gear from leading international brands such as The North Face, Salewa and Ternua. There is also merino wool underwear from Smartwool and Icebreaker, as well as children’s clothing.
Czech clothing brands are represented in the store, including some excellent gear by Tilak and Hannah. The range is limited, however, and you will need to travel outside the centre of Prague for a broader selection.
In footwear, Rock Point stocks shoes, boots and sandals suitable for all types of weather, including an extensive range by Keen.
Other items available include backpacks and luggage, tents, sleeping bags, camping equipment, and accessories by the Australian brand Sea to Summit.
