| House of Fun in Prague is a large entertainment complex spread over 9 floors, an intriguing mix of attractions, experiences, arcade games, American-style bars, fast-food dining and retail outlets. With every floor offering a different theme and experience, the overall feel lies somewhere between an upmarket amusement arcade and a glitzy Las Vegas casino.
The House of Fun boasts fun things to do for all age groups, from young children and teens through to adults looking for a sophisticated night out. At the centre of the complex, on floors 3, 4 and 5, is 'Levels', an innovative amusement zone. It features over 120 high-tech arcade games and activities, including car and motorbike racing simulators, slot machines, shooting ranges, darts, pool tables, shuffleboards, air hockey, and even an 18-hole mini-golf course. Many of the games require physical involvement, such as shooting basketballs, dancing on the spot, or throwing balls to advance the horses. Entry to the House of Fun is free if you want to walk in and take a look around. To play any of the arcade games and attractions in Levels, you need to buy a Game or Time Card from one of the help desks and pre-load it with play credits — English- and Czech-speaking assistants are on hand to guide you through the process.
At the centre of floors 3 and 4, spread across both, is a glamorous bar and club area. At the top of the House of Fun complex, on floors 8 and 9, is 'Fly Vista', comprising a huge Champagne bar and outdoor terraces. Visitors can either drink at the bar or take a seat outside and take in the 360‑degree views over Prague. The remaining floors at the House of Fun contain a superhero experience called 'Heroes Park', a play zone for young children featuring 100 metres of slides, and an amusing attraction called 'Back in Time', which explores the history of Prague. There are also shops and a food court offering American, Asian and Czech fast-food. The lower floor is occupied by Tesco, the largest supermarket in the city centre. House of Fun is located next to Narodni trida tram stop and metro station, and is a 5–10 minutes' walk from both Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square. |
