| Nebozizek Restaurant is set on the hillside, halfway up Petřín Hill, a beautiful area of parkland and woodland in Prague's Lesser Town.
Guests who make the journey up to the restaurant are rewarded with wonderful views over Prague by day and night, as well as an eye-level view across to Prague Castle.
The dining area at Nebozizek is a large glass conservatory, warm and cosy in winter, and cool, light and airy in summer.
The restaurant also has a large outdoor terrace, open for most of the year.
Nebozizek serves a carefully chosen menu of Czech and international cuisine. The dishes are attractively presented and prepared to a high standard, with something to suit most tastes. Given the location, the food is very reasonably priced.
A selection of wines is available by the glass and bottle to suit all budgets, including a selection of excellent Czech wines.
A talented pianist performs on many evenings, depending on the number of diners, adding further charm to the Nebozizek experience.
Nebozizek is a wonderful restaurant to visit at any time of year, each season bringing its own atmosphere. In the warmer months, watch the sun set over Prague's red rooftops as the city lights up before you. In winter, you may be fortunate enough to enjoy views of a snow-covered city while comfortably cocooned inside the restaurant. For a few hours at least, Prague will be at your feet.
HOW TO REACH NEBOZIZEK RESTAURANT
Travel options from the historic centre:
1. The Petřín Funicular offers the easiest and most enjoyable way to reach Nebozizek Restaurant. The funicular departs from Újezd in the Lesser Town, a 5-minute walk from Újezd tram stop. Alight the funicular at Nebozízek stop.
2. Nebozizek can also be reached on foot from the bottom of Petřín Hill. The walk takes around 20 minutes and is reasonably steep, but passes through parkland and woodland.
3. During daylight hours, guests can visit Petřín Tower and the other attractions at the top of Petřín Hill, then walk down to Nebozizek through the trees and parkland. The walk takes around 20 minutes.
4. Take a taxi.
At the end of your visit, take the funicular or a taxi back into the city centre. Alternatively, a lovely way to finish the evening is to walk down Petřín Hill to the Lesser Town and stroll across Charles Bridge. |
