|Black light theatre is a specialty of Prague, a world of illusory creations and hidden secrets conjured up by colourfully dressed mime artists and energetic dancers. Shows are emotional, often with comedic touches.|
Laterna magika is a variation of black light theatre, but with moving film as a backdrop.
Puppet shows enjoy a long tradition in Prague, and the National Marionette was the first theatre to stage them. Life-size puppets dressed in period costumes perform Mozart's Don Giovanni and the Magic Flute.
