This exhibition, held in the Gaming Parlours at Municipal House, celebrates the fashion designer Blanka Matragi's work. Dresses and accessories are the core exhibits, supplemented by sculptures, chandeliers, glass and porcelain objects, and art.

Designblok 2020 - Prague International Design Festival
Dates: 07 October 2020 - 11 October 2020
Designblok is the largest design and fashion show in Central Europe. It showcases the work of designers and manufacturers from all over Europe, including designs from new and established brands and design studios.
Where: Prague Holesovice Exhibition Centre, Vystaviste, Prague 7.
Travel: Tram stop: Vystaviste; Metro station: Nadrazi Holesovice (line C) and walk 800 metres.

SIGNAL Light Festival
SIGNAL Light Festival
Dates: 15 October 2020 - 18 October 2020
The SIGNAL Festival is an open-air celebration of light. Some of Prague's famous buildings are bathed in an array of colours, as the best in modern technology is employed to illuminate the buildings using fixed lighting or video projections. To enjoy the shows simply stroll around the Old Town and by the river at night-time.
Where: Around the Old Town Square and Vltava River, Karlin and Vinohrady.

iMucha - Alphonse Mucha - Visual Experience

This unique multimedia show celebrates the work of the famous Czech painter and designer, Alfons Mucha. 160 years after he was born, iMucha presents the great man's posters, the Slav Epic and unknown works in motion, in sophisticated animations.

Travel: Metro station: Ceskomoravska (line B). O2 Universum is next to O2 Arena, which is opposite the metro station.

a-ha - Concert
a-ha - Concert

The Norwegian pop group, a-ha, play Prague for the first time. The band is on their European tour to celebrate 35 years since the release of their most popular album 'Hunting High and Low', which included their hit 'Take On Me'.

Independent Czechoslovak State Day - Public Holiday

Public holiday in Prague. 'Independent Czechoslovak State Day' marks the most important date in the country's history. It commemorates the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918, following the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Prague sightseeing and entertainment operate as normal. Shops have limited opening times.

Visit a Prague theatre for a typically Czech experience. Black light theatre is a mix of dynamic dance routines, mime artists, animated film, and state-of-the-art visual and audio effects.
