Designblok - International Design Festival
Designblok - International Design Festival
Dates: 06 October 2021 - 10 October 2021
Designblok is the largest design and fashion show in Central Europe. It showcases the work of designers and manufacturers from all over Europe, including designs from new and established brands and design studios.
Where: St Gabriel Monastery (Klášter svatého Gabriela), Holečkova 10, Prague 5.

Prague Marathon Weekend
Prague Marathon Weekend
Dates: 09 October 2021 - 10 October 2021
Times: 09:00. Time limit: 16:00
The Prague Marathon has one of the most beautiful courses in the world. The race winds through the historic city centre, over bridges and along the Vltava River. The race is on the Sunday, but the build up starts on Saturday with a weekend of activities, including relay and corporate team marathons.
Where: Races start and finish at the Old Town Square, Prague 1.

Comic/Con Prague - Festival
Dates: 15 October 2021 - 17 October 2021
Times: Friday 13:00–23:00, Saturday 09:00–23:00, Sunday 09:00–19:00
Prices: Friday & Sunday 690 CZK; Saturday 990 CZK.
Fans of sci-fi, fantasy and horror will enjoy this international three-day festival dedicated to video games, board games, films, TV shows, comics, books, paintings and more.
Where: O2 Universum, Českomoravská 2345/17, Prague 9.
Travel: Metro station: Ceskomoravska (line B). O2 Universum is next to O2 Arena, which is opposite the metro station.

Independent Czechoslovak State Day - Public Holiday

Public holiday. 'Independent Czechoslovak State Day' marks the most important date in the country's history. It commemorates the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918, following the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Prague sightseeing and entertainment operate as normal. Shops have limited opening times.
