Castle Side Tour With Local Food & Drinks

We explore the enchanting area surrounding Prague Castle and all the way down through the picturesque Lesser Town (Mala Strana) to the river - in other words, the entire opposite side of Prague from the Old Town.

The tour runs in small groups (2-11 people) to ensure a sense of exploration and discovery.

After meeting your guide at Charles Bridge, we begin our tour by taking a tram up to Prague Castle, around which some of Prague's most interesting historical sights can be found: We see the stunning 12th-century Strahov Monastery, St. Norbert's Brewery, the beautiful pilgrimage destination of Loreta, and of course, Prague Castle itself.

We visit the "New World" (Nový Svet) neighbourhood, a romantic off-the-track area of cobbled streets and quaint 17th and 18th-century houses, and stop off at glorious viewpoints you wouldn't experience on a regular Prague tour.

Next, we walk down towards the river to explore the Lesser Town, visiting Kampa Island, the John Lennon Wall, and other more local parts of the city.

For food, we stop off at a fabulous local restaurant, the kind of place we all like to discover in a foreign city. A variety of dishes that showcase traditional Czech cuisine are laid out in the middle of the table, for you to select the items you wish to sample.

Two drinks are also included, with a choice of light or dark beer, or soft drinks.

By the time we bid you farewell, we hope you'll have a good understanding of the city of Prague, and of the people who call it home.

And as a parting gift, we present you with a guidebook full of 'locals recommendations'.

The tour finishes in the Lesser Town.
