Waxy Malone's Irish Bar

It is a popular, comfortable bar with plenty of atmosphere. The clientele is mostly international, there to sit and chat with friends or to watch the live sports broadcast throughout the day on one of several TVs dotted around the pub.

The drinks list includes Irish favourites like Guinness and Kilkenny, Hoegaarden, Strongbow, and local Czech beer Staropramen.

As Waxy Malone's occupies a prime spot in Prague, it attracts many tourists wandering past. This inevitably means drinks are on the expensive side compared to bars off the beaten track.

In the warmer months, Waxy Malone's opens a terrace outside the pub on Old Town Square. The terrace attracts stag parties and hen parties at weekends, but there is also an ever-changing mix of people, all there to enjoy a cool drink in the historic surroundings.
