St. Wenceslas Market features wooden huts selling glassware, ceramics, wooden toys, candles, jewellery, puppets, embroidery and other local handicrafts. There is also local food and drinks on offer; grilled sausages, hams on spits, pastries, Czech beer and hot mulled wine. Entry is free.

20 Years Since the Flood - Exhibition

In August 2002, floods hit Prague. A huge surge of water caused 30 billion crowns of damage. This photographic exhibition will stir the memories of those who witnessed the dramatic scenes, and will show the younger visitors what it looked like. Some photos are “then and now”, others capture the rescue efforts for evacuated residents and animals, including the animals from Prague Zoo.
