Nomadic breweries have no fixed brewing premises. Instead, beer enthusiasts who lack the resources to build their own brewery rely on using the spare capacity of established breweries to create their masterpieces. Some brew the beer themselves, others employ the skills of the resident brewmaster.

The Birell Grand Prix Prague is the final running event of the season. Participants run through the illuminated historical streets of Prague at twilight. The event comprises a 10km Men's and Women's Race, and Team Races.

Vinohrady Wine Festival

The Vinohrady Wine Festival (Vinohradske vinobrani) is held annually at Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad, a local Square just outside the city centre. Inspired by the period of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, the festival is attended by winemakers from all over Central Europe, including small, independent Czech and Moravian wine merchants. There is plenty of local food to taste too, plus live music.

Public Holiday. Commemorates St. Wenceslas, patron saint of Czechia, who was murdered by his brother in 935 AD.
