The iMucha exhibition at Municipal House is an extensive collection of posters and works of art by the Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist Alfons Mucha. The collection brings Mucha's works to life with digital technology; models from his posters are shown in motion and Mucha himself speaks from a self-portrait.

The Earth Is Me

It depends on me what the Earth will be like – this is the motto of the new exhibition that will show you in practice how you can contribute to the protection of the environment. It introduces the topic of sustainability through concrete examples from everyday life and encourages reflection about what an individual can do for the world around him. This is the first exhibition at the National Museum that deals purely with the topic of sustainability and environmental friendliness and tries to embrace this topic in a comprehensive way.

The SIGNAL festival is an open-air celebration of light. Many of Prague's famous buildings are bathed in an array of colours, illuminated by the best in modern lighting technology. Both fixed lighting and video projection is used.
To enjoy the shows, simply stroll around the city centre, and the Karlin and Holesovice districts after dark.

Public Holiday. 'Independent Czechoslovak State Day' marks the most important date in the country's history. It commemorates the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918, following the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Prague sightseeing and entertainment operate as normal. Shops have limited opening times.
