Situated on a side street off Wenceslas Square, Rocky O’Reillys offers a taste of Ireland in the centre of Prague.
This popular stag weekend pub won't win any interior design awards, but for atmosphere it has plenty going for it. Rocky O’Reillys is split into two parts with two separate bars. The left-hand section has a homely feel, with a dark wood interior reminiscent of a Dublin city pub. 4 TVs show live sports. The right-hand side has a room at the front with wooden tables and a log fire (welcome in the winter). And at the rear is the most popular area, a larger and much noisier bar than the other parts of Rocky's. This rear area has several TVs and a large projection screen showing Sky Sports, BBC and other Satellite channels; it's ideal for rowdy sports entertainment followed by loud happy tunes. There is ample space for big groups, which is just as well as some stag parties appear to stay the whole weekend! On tap the pub offers Guinness, Kilkenny, Stella Artois, Heineken and a favourite Czech beer, Budvar. Warm Irish style hospitality is guaranteed at Rocky O'Reillys. Staff are friendly and efficient. Whichever side of the pub you choose, you’ll be in for a good time. Finally, Rocky O´Reillys serve a full Irish breakfast all day long from 10am to 11pm. |
