|Duplex Restaurant & Club is one of the coolest venues in Prague to dine, dance and party the night away at.|
It is situated in the middle of Wenceslas Square, at the top of a tall building. This unique location affords its visitors terrific views over the city.
During the day, the Duplex Restaurant makes an impressive destination for lunch or dinner, for leisure or corporate dining.
Then from 10pm it's all change, as Duplex transforms into Prague’s most exclusive club, with lounge style seating, cool lighting and some of the best DJs to play the city.
Restaurant at Duplex
From street level on Wenceslas Square, look up and you can see the exterior of Duplex, a giant glass cube overlooking the square.
Take the lift up, and you step out into a stylish, air-conditioned restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows afford all tables nice views over the rooftops of Prague.
Stroll out onto the terrace, and the views over Wenceslas Square are superb - guests also have the option of dining out here if the weather is fine.
The menu focuses on international and Mediterranean cuisine, and is reasonably priced for such a setting.
Food choices include prime American beef ribs, chicken dishes, grilled tuna steak, pan fried cod, and tiger prawns and calamari. Not forgetting of course their 'Rooftop Signature Burger'.
There are also salads, plus desserts made of dark chocolate and fresh raspberries.
All food is expertly prepared and presented with flair.
The wine list offers international wines, plus Pilsner Urquell beer on tap, bottled beers, and spirits and cocktails.
All age groups will enjoy dining at Duplex, and it is suitable for a range of occasions from romantic dinners to large group dining.
Club at Duplex
The club at Duplex has a stylish glass, steel and wood interior. Look up from Wenceslas Square at night and you may see club dancers gyrating by the windows, their figures illuminated by the moving lights.
Duplex has good resident DJs, and often attracts big name DJs from elsewhere too. The playlist is mostly house music, and the tunes are good to dance to.
There are plenty of comfy chairs to relax into, both inside the club and out on the terrace - the balcony is a terrific place for a cocktail, as you look out over Wenceslas Square and the rest of Prague.
Drinks are not the cheapest, but not too expensive either, particularly as Duplex has been awarded membership of The World's Finest Clubs. It is popular with celebrities, but despite its air of exclusivity, most people will find the club welcoming.
