|The Londoners is a British Pub and sports bar at street level, with a music club called 23 Downtown situated in the basement.|
It is located 5 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, on the same road as the popular Rocky O’Reillys Irish pub.
The Londoners pub is straight forward, modern and nicely refurbished. Staff offer a warm welcome to a mainly tourist crowd ranging from couples to stag parties and hen nights.
Live sports are shown on a large projection screen and various TVs dotted around the room; it's a friendly bar, so feel free to ask the owner to put on whatever football, rugby or cricket match, or other live sports event you wish to watch.
For drinks there is Czech beer, Guinness and cider on tap. And if you are feeling peckish while watching the sports, the pub has an Indian chef who prepares tasty curries and fish and chips.
Downstairs the music club spins the Latin American tunes from mid-evening through till 6am at weekends. There is plenty of room for a dance, or simply choose a drink from the extensive cocktail menu (other drinks are available) and settle onto a bar stool.
The Londoners is fairly new on the Prague scene, so it really depends on the night as to how busy it is. But with several large hotels and stag apartments located in the vicinity, it is building a fan base, particularly at weekends when a big match is on.
