The palace is the only building on the island, and is just two minutes' walk from the National Theatre in the centre of Prague.
The Grand Ballroom (in which Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Berlioz, Liszt and Dvořák have all performed) will be richly decorated for a New Year's Eve party.
The theme is ‘Masks for Zofin’ and staff will be wearing facial masks. Guests can do the same or dress as they wish.
Entertainment: a jazz band performs in the first part of the evening, followed by a DJ playing 70s/80s/90s/00s/10s party music with giant video projection and dancing.
There is also a dance show, a casino and a free Fotonaut (photo booth which sends photos to your email).
