The pub is set in a historic building near the Old Town Square, and is a warren of rustically decorated rooms spread over 4 levels.

Durty Nelly's capitalizes on the charm of the setting by offering different entertainment in every room. Live bands play in several rooms; there is karaoke elsewhere; and in another room, eager punters shoot balls on a pool table. Seemingly everywhere, large TV screens show live sports, and the music levels are up high.

This is not a pub for a quiet drink, and you may be wise to have had a few before you drop by.

In terms of live sports, TV coverage includes everything from the Premier League, Bundesliga and Champions League football, to Six Nations rugby and the NFL.

Beers on tap include Staropramen, Stella Artois, and of course, Guiness and Kilkenny. There is also Strongbow cider and a range of spirits.

Drinks prices are on a par with Western Europe; expensive for Prague but acceptable for most of its clientele, given its upbeat atmosphere and prime city centre location.
