Wine Festival at Prague Castle

TIME: 11:00-18:00 | | This popular annual wine festival to celebrate the grape harvest is held at the Royal Garden at Prague Castle.
Part 1. In the landscaped gardens of Prague Castle, stalls serve food and drinks associated with harvest time, including local wines and Burcak (partially fermented young wine). Also, watch demonstrations of traditional crafts like grape pressing and basket weaving, and performances by folk singers and musicians. Entry: free.
Part 2. Moravian Wine Tasting: Inside the Empire Greenhouse, sample a variety of Czech wines at reasonable prices.

Vinohrady Wine Festival 2025

Czech Crown Jewels at Prague Castle
DATE: 17 September 2024 - 30 September 2024 | | To mark St. Wenceslas Day on 28th September, the Czech Crown Jewels are being displayed in the Vladislav Hall of the Old Royal Palace at Prague Castle.
The Czech royal crown is pure gold, inlaid with precious stones and pearls; the royal sceptre is set with sapphires; and the golden orb is set with a cross inlaid with precious stones.
