| Ginger & Fred is set on the top floor of the famous Dancing House building, right on the bank of the river. The restaurant presents a delightful international menu complimented by magnificent views over Prague. Stepping out from the lift, visitors enter a stylish, air-conditioned restaurant with windows on three sides. Look out, and Prague Castle, Vltava River and Charles Bridge all lie before you in panoramic splendour. Ginger & Fred has a well balanced menu which includes fresh river and sea fish, beef steaks, and duck dishes. There also are some superb desserts and pungent French cheeses to round off your meal. The restaurant boasts a good range of international wines, and some excellent bottles from Czechia. From June to September, guests can choose to dine al fresco on the rooftop terrace, to enjoy the beautiful views in the open air. Tip: When booking a table at Ginger & Fred (reservations are essential, and you can do this via Prague Experience), we advise not to request a table on the terrace - the weather is changeable in Prague, and sometimes it can be too hot to dine comfortably outside. Instead, secure a table inside, then ask to sit outside if it suits you. Ginger & Fred Restaurant is an excellent choice for a special occasion. The cuisine is terrific, and the views are awe-inspiring and romantic all year round, both during the day and at night. |
