Café Mozart

This wonderful 'old world' establishment is situated on the first floor of a historical building, from where visitors can look out over the square, and across at eye level to the Astronomical Clock.

The furnishings at Café Mozart are timeless. Dark wooden tables are laid with sparkling silverware and crystal glasses. Chairs are upholstered with fine quality fabrics. Historical clocks and porcelain fill the display cabinets.

Breakfast and daytime refreshments are served: Monday-Friday 07:30-19:00; Saturday 07:30-20:00; Sundays 07:30-18:00.

A mouth-watering selection of homemade cakes, apple strudel, sweet pastries, desserts and ice cream sundaes are available.

The drinks menu offers an extensive range of coffees, teas, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

The concept of "Afternoon Coffee and Cake" is pushed delightfully to the limit at Café Mozart.

CHRISTMAS EVE: 24 DECEMBER 2026

On Christmas Eve, Café Mozart hosts special a 'Dinner & Concert' night, combining a delicious multi-course meal with a live music concert.

There is a choice of three well designed menus, including a vegetarian option. Dinner is served while the musicians perform. Please state your menu choice(s) in Special Requests on the booking form.

The concert features a festive blend of Christmas carols, classical masterpieces, film themes and popular songs.

The music, the food and the beautiful setting combine perfectly, and should leave guests with a warm, long lasting memory of the event.

Entry to the 'Dinner & Concert' night is by ticket, which must be booked in advance via the concert listings page on this website.

NYE PARTY: 31 DECEMBER 2026

Café Mozart hosts a New Year's Eve Party featuring a gourmet buffet dinner, live band, and dancing.

ATMOSPHERE: Elegant and fun New Year's Eve party with a festive feel.

ENTERTAINMENT: Live band and dancing. The Zuzana Dubnová Quartet (singer & pianist, saxophone, bass guitar and drums) play Latin American rhythms, swing and famous pop tunes. Listen to the music of Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Sting, Amy Whitehouse, The Beatles, and more.

The dance floor is usually very popular as the night progresses.

AT MIDNIGHT: Large windows at Café Mozart overlook the Old Town Square. Toast in the New Year with your included Bohemia Sekt 'Czech Champagne', and watch the festivities in the square. Alternatively, step outside into the square.

AFTER MIDNIGHT: The party continues with music and dancing until the last guests leave.
