Operating in the winter only, the Prague Intro Sightseeing Tour combines a guided panoramic coach tour of the sights and attractions with a walking tour of Prague Castle.
Participants gain a good understanding of the layout of the city and learn some key facts about its dramatic history.
After picking you up from your Prague hotel we begin our tour in the New Town, where we visit the most vibrant area of the city, Wenceslas Square, and see its dominant building, the National Museum.
We then drive to the river to see the golden roofed National Theatre and the city's historic bridge, Charles Bridge.
Crossing the river we enter the picturesque Lesser Town (Malá Strana), with its ancient burgher houses and quaint side streets, before driving up to Prague Castle.
Prague Castle is pedestrianised, so at this point we exit the coach for the guide to lead us through the castle complex, to learn of its history and admire the many grand buildings within, including St. Vitus Cathedral.
The visit to Prague Castle lasts for around 50 minutes. The terrain is flat, with some cobbles.
From Prague Castle we walk down to the river via a flight of steps (the steps are lengthy, but wide and deep, and so fairly easy to walk down).
We then board the coach once more to drive back over the water, to visit the enchanting Old Town. En-route we pass through the Jewish Quarter and see the stunning Municipal House.
Prague Experience sightseeing tours are in English and another language. They are led by professional, licensed tourist guides and use modern, air-conditioned mini-coaches.
If you require a tour in French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish, please specify on the booking form.
The trip finishes near Wenceslas Square.
